Handmade Wand JP-238n by ~PraeclarusWands is a wonderful clean and simple wood work, the addition of the luxurious box (also handmade!) takes it a notch higher.

5/13: Many thanks for the DD feature!
Here it is - the finished version of the WIP pic I posted on Tuesday. It's carved from walnut, sanded with 150, 300, and 600 grit sandpaper, stained with Minwax English Chestnut and Cherry colored stains, and finished with a couple coats of acrylic varnish.
The silver moon was done with silver paint and a coat of silver leaf, then varnished over. The moon design itself was burned in with a woodburning tool. The box is made with rawboard covered with craft paper. The wand bed fabric is a navy blue velvet, and the ribbon is a sheer silver.
