Wand no. 45, based on Molly Hooper from BBC Sherlock. I carved it by hand from a piece of oak using whittling knives, sanded it, stained it with minwax provincial and golden oak, and finished it with an acrylic varnish. The gem on the end (not visible) is glued on, and the flowery swirls on the shaft were burned in with a woodburning tool.
In-universe, I think Molly would have a Hazel wand with a Unicorn Tail Hair core. According to Ollivander, bearers of Hazel know how to manage their own feelings, which Molly definitely does for Sherlock. She knows she likes him, but doesn't let it get it the way of her life. Unicorn is obvious - it bonds to the pure of heart and produces consistent magic, though not the strongest.
